Technorati Profile
Jump To Green, Inc. has been selected to present its JumpGauge™ technology at the Boston Entrepreneurs’ Network meeting on April 7, 2009.

Stas Antons, a co-founder of Jump To Green, gave a short talk on the problems that surround eco-friendly marketplace today, and how JumpGauge™ Interactive Labeling System removes confusion from green industry and brings order to data that surrounds it.

“In recent months green-tech industry has been at the fore-front of the headline news in most, if not all media outlets. Combined with the current administration’s interest in clean energy and its clear determination to encourage greener businesses and policies, it is not surprising that eco-friendly space has been surrounded by everyone who wants to be associated with this new direction.

During our market research Jump To Green discovered that many consumers want to purchase eco-friendly products, but have avoided doing so due to the technical jargon, lack of standards and unfamiliar descriptions found on the product’s label.

On the other hand, companies want to tell customers and the public about greenness of their products as well as the greenness of the companies themselves. However, they face an uphill battle because only a few people bother to read multi-page fine print about a company and its green policies. As a result, their message is often distorted as it propagates through the supply chain.

Solution: Through JumpGauge™ interactive labeling technology, which has been applied to over 30,000 products, consumers can see what is green about a product, a service or a company. And corporations can show, at a glance, the greenness of their products, manufacturing process or company policy.”
